What you think determines how you feel. What you feel determines your behavior and your behavior determines your results. Ultimately your thinking is the source of the results in your life.

Life coaching helps people feel empowered and to reach and exceed personal and professional goals, these goals could be at work, at home, with relationships or simply exploring the self usually with the aim of some kind of goal attainment.

Whilst a life coach will ask a client about their history, the focus of coaching is not on the past, although this is sometimes touched upon in order to give clarity to both the coach and the client on present issues. The emphasis is mainly on goal setting and the future. Various psychological techniques are used to enable the client to push past emotional barriers and to see life with a more hopeful and enlightened outlook. Coaches help you get from where you are now to where you want to be.

I am not advocating that by simply thinking that all your problems don't exist that they will actually disappear. What I am saying is that if you change your thinking you will feel differently about those things in your life. That will enable you to act or behave differently giving you more desired results. If your thinking allows for other outside influences to affect your ability to get what you want out of life then you have given those outside things control over your results.
